      A major question comes to mind. Did having the opportunity to pick up this gold party badge mean you paid little or nothing for it? As you wrote that apparently you know little about them and would defer to folks "who have forgot more..."than you'll ever know, you wouldn't have risked paying the market price that a real one would command for such a trashy copy? Or would you? Please say no.
