SA Unit help

I can't help with the info on the unit but why would the signature look so crude and have his rank beside it? That seems odd to me but I'm also not that versed in daggers or their inscrptions.

The dagger appears to be a very early issue example of an M-33 SA ordered through SA-Gruppe Franken in late 1933 / early 1934. Sorry but I can't comment on the inscription.

Bob,
Reserve Standarte 14 was hq'd in Nürnberg, SA Group Franken, so the dedication unit does match the dagger Group stamp. A closer look at the etch would be helpful.
