Hitler Bust Relief

Hi Folks:

I recently picked this Hitler Bust relief which is cast iron and a hole drilled in the back for mounting on a nail. It's "heavy"....not light weight.....which could be mounted on a wooden plaque. There is no maker's marking or HM...so I'm not sure if it's original. When I was in Germany 1980-90...I saw many of these but I passed....but when I saw this ...I decided "oh well"...and the price was right.

MY IMPRESSION IS THAT THIS IS A REPRODUCTION .no maker/artist marks ..solid back as seen in reproduction ,and the mounting hole seems rather odd..does that hole go all the way thru? EC

Hi EC: Thanks for your comments....I agree with you. The hole doesn't go all the way thru. For what I paid for it....which wasn't much.....I can live with it being post-war. Tks,
