    Big wall eagle

It measures 62 cm - 54 cm and 7 cm in dept.
Weight arround 25 kilo and has marble behind the swastika.
I think at least the back has been made of stone or concrete or something and the front maybe a metal?

The story goes that this is a 70s bring back from Berlin they where found last week in a house in Germany.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Michael

                Hi,

Not sure if it is the same, but from memory i have seen them being offered on German auctionhouses as repro several times the past year. Always made of stone (chalk?) and with painted front. Is the front really metal? This looks like an upgrade of those i saw.

                best regards,
                Gaston

I'm not very convinced by this eagle design.

Very nice find of an original eagle. About 10 years ago my friend and i dug up a exact same broken one in the area of Potsdam. I remember it was in 5 or 6 pieces of a kind of zinc alu filled with some kind of plaster with some kind of goldpaint but totaly crushed or smashed. I bet a jeep or something drove over on of ours before ending in a dumppit with typing machines chairs and other rubbisch.

I have to ask my friend if he still have it or have pictures from the dugup.
