It looks like the textbook regulation drum as used by the Wehrmacht, NSDAP and related organizations, private company bands, etc. I have never seen a drum with an insignia attached like this--I guess it's possible that it was done pre-45 but certainly not common or the norm. The drum itself is missing the correct snare hook and wing nut, but otherwise it looks fine.

Erich , thank you very much for your answer, the problem is that I also have never seen a drum with this insignia.
Someone, ever seen a drum with such logo?
I know the manufacturer of musical instruments is real and well known in Germany

        agree

I agree with Erich. The drum is original to the period (the company is now better known as Lefima) The HJ device is not original to the drum. I have, however, seen (and own one) small youth drums with HJ diamond embellishments. (mine hand painted). It is impossible in most cases to say when such added decoration was done, but I do believe it happened...remember, they were kids...kids are masters of embellishment!

The batter head on the drum you've shown appears to be mylar (modern). Period drum head were calfskin, tucked onto wood hoops. With the other missing components that Erich mentions, I would probably wait on a complete example (the HJ diamond adds no value)..they frequently appear in better condition.

        Best Regards,

        Shawn

Shawn, thank you very much for your valued response, I think if you've never seen this kind of marking and logo, this has been added and not mass-produced.
Therefore, if the drum have parts were added no period, it would also be very possible that someone added on labeling logo to make it more "sexy drum"
It is impossible to know whether the addition was before or after the period, but personally I think the second option is more likely.

Moreover, I don't think that a boy from the HJ added the manufacturer marking and if the manufacturer had actually printed the logo, I think we would have seen several drums with this type of marking.
