    Olympic cased medal and Cert

Hello people. I recently purchased this medal and cert, and just wanted a few opinions.
The medal doesnt have a pin on the ribbon like others Ive seen, and also the ring isnt maker marked.

I know there is a world of knowledge on this forum, so any info would be greatly appreciated

From what I see everything look fine to me. Yellow ribbon is not a common, this medal usually has a red ribbon

I believe that you are seeing a faded red ribbon. Most that I have come across have been faded and take on an almost orangish salmon color. Finding them with the deep red that they were originally colored is pretty tough in my experiences.

Thanks for the comments guys, its comforting to know you have something genuine

I notice you mention the various ribbons and colours etc, but I notice on that last photo from Ron, that the white lines look more spaced out on the red ribbon, but then the ribbon bar is very red, and has the same matching white lines.

                      Thanks again guys.

Also, does anyone know where I can research the person named on the certificate?
I tried Google, but didnt really find anything if great interest. There must be a list of Olympic winners etc?
