    Date a Burger Brau Menu?

    Found this menu amongst some papers i bought from an Austrian mate, not sure how to date it and in not sure what the writing in red to the front means, any help would be gratefull

    Here are a couple of shots of the inside, prices are i pressume in marks and the name at the bottom of the front might help in dateing, anyway its just a bit of fun and if period late 20's /30's would look great with a beer mug and some Nazi mug shots

      It reads "Eigene Bilder" and translates to "Own pictures."

        Thought it something to do with pictures, now all i need is for that lovely hand writting to be from Gobbels hand Hoffmann would be quite nice as well

          It looks like a roughed out draft for a new menu--I think they intended to have a photo added to the front page.

            I pressumed the written area might be for meals of the day, or week, changing from time to time as the rest is printed, Thats interesting Erich

              Unfortunately Google does not know when Wilhelm Mendler was the lessee of the Bürger-Bräu.

                I would think that Erich's note captures the subject: the notation looks like a publisher's notation to insert a photo in a new edition. Sorry that I don't know at what period Wilhelm Mendler was operating the restaurant.
