Unknown HJ shoulder board - help needed

    Hello,

in a "Musterbuch" (samples book) from "Fahnen Lamm, Bielefeld" turned a HJ shoulderboard up, that I have no Information about.

It is a pre '38 board with crimson piping and the embroiderd letters "OB" and the numbers "6/9". Does anyone know what it is? Oberbann staff?

    Thank you very much,
    Andreas

This type of Oberbann shoulder-strap was only worn by staff for a very short period of time (between early April 1934 and May 1934), forbidden for wear with the entry of December 1934 finally. The 9 stands for the district Westfalen; the 6 for the number of the Oberbann (this is Minden-Ravensberg). They are EXTREMELY rare! And even rarer by the Oberbann-number 6, as there were only a few Oberbann 6 in existance (in fact only two in spring 1934). This is the first one I ever have seen. Would have been great to show in my Bann-number book. But alas!!

    best regards,
    wilhelm

The sample-plate was from Fahnen Lamm (Wilhelm Lamm) from Bielefeld, who held the RZM-permission A4/36 (mentioned in the RZM handbook).

A very rare H.J. strap. Not to mention the Oberbann 6 white numbered and piped strap also shown is also tough to find.

Can you post photos of the other HJ insignia in this book ?

Vinzenz told me, he is trying to get allowance from the owner to show the other available plates. If so, he surely will show more!
