    Nice Eagle Wall Plaque Prize

    Hello,

    I recently picked up this nice eagle plaque, it is fairly large (32 cm x 22 cm) with the eagle itself measuring 18 cm high and 19 cm across the wingtips. A couple of these have been posted here before but this is the first one I have seen that seems to be attributed to a woman,

        According to the plaque, it was the 1st prize for the women's (ski?) competition on the Hochkönig (mountain in Berchtesgaden) in May 1939.

            nice..how do you guys locate this stuff. i go to all the big shows but almost never see this stuff offered for sale..
