Small armbands/cuff bands?

These came out of a box stored from 70 years ago... What are they for? Thanks

Lots of different theories on their use, but nothing to prove any of them. No documentation or photos of these in use as far as I know are known. Almost all are found unissued like these. Some are found with stampings on them for certain duties like "NSDAP Partei-Bereichschaft" and "NSDAP Luftkriegs Einsatz".

Thank you... The guy was in the 2nd military railway service, thought maybe something to do with train service??

I think the stamping would be 'NSDAP Parteibereitschaft', so assumably they were worn, or intended to be worn, with civilian clothing when an individual was performing some temporary official duty (like Luftschutz work, helping to clear an area, etc.).
