Hello,

Pardon my ignorance with this item but I just don't know what it is. I was wondering if anyone had any information of it and what it was for. I did a search on the forum but I didnt find too much on it.

It appears be be made out of a wax paper...

It's not an SA identity card. The bearer apparently used a picture in his SA uniform. It's an identity card for a worker in the RPA, Rassenpolitisches Amt, The Office for Racial Policy. See

Perhaps the local SA provided staff for this office. He's listed as the Kreishauptstellenleiter (county main office director) in the office for practical population policy (praktische Bevoelkerungspolitik) in Wurzburg.

Bit odd...the pass is dated 1942 but the photo is clearly a few years older due to his twist piping on his shirt...unconvinced

Photo has clearly been added after the pass was issued, as the rivets are over the rubber stamp on page two.

Good eyes...I didnt even see it.

I ended up taking it back to the guy...he wanted too much anyway.
