Hello,

I have the opportunity to make an offer on this sign. The owner says it is enamel and has been de-nazified. This is outside of my normal collecting experience, so I wonder what would be a good offer based on the condition.

I do not have any better pictures, unfortunately. What's it worth and how much would you offer for it? Could such a sign be restored?

Any info, help, advice would be greatly appreciated.

These are not too uncommon. The enamel ones are more desirable than the hard paperboard ones. In this condition I wouldn't pay more than $300-$350 at most. Doesn't look like it has been 100% de-nazified. Restoration on these is tough to make look very good.

I wouldn't give more than $300-350 for a very good example, this one has some wear so I would say it depends on how much you like items in this condition... looks "untouched", which is a plus, but it's definitely seen some abuse also --- possible denazification, like you mentioned, etc. These are pretty easy to find... if not really cheap, relative to prices for really nice ones, I would probably pass.

How does the reverse look?

I agree--also, they take up a lot of wall space, they're inconvenient to ship, and the metal examples weigh quite a bit. I'd wait for one in better condition unless this one could be had for under $150.00.
