    Political Leader's Hat Eagle??

This came out of the woodwork in a vet lot group. As I do not collect accoutrements, I am at a loss as to what it is.

My guess is a Political Leader's Hat Eagle. The wreath and swastika are larger than any other I have seen - about the size of a dime.

Knowing there are experts on WAF that will know what this is, I am throwing it out there for help.

    Many thanks, as always!

It is a state eagle used primarily on Reichspost visors.

I agree with stonemint: your right facing eagle is an state/admin cap eagle in silver (also exists in gold colour) I've attached a 1939 NSDAP political leader's cap insignia set for comparison

        Wow, neat eagle JC.

Have not seen this type of right facing eagle before.

        Thanks.

Here is the same state eagle in gold on a Reichsbahn visor:

                Hi Gary,

I believe the only right-facing PL cap eagle was the short-lived 1936 version, and this was always in gold-color. All earlier versions, as well as the 1939 version as shown by JC, were left-facing eagles.
