sloppy construction and some other things already mentioned

I don't give tutorials on forums for would be forgers.

This is just my opinion, everybody has one, you can decide for yourself if you would want this in your collection.

I totally agree. The gilt embroidery lacks the refinement found on genuine examples.

But then what about these sample type armbands? They seem to have the same embroidery. This one is RonR's. I'm not saying I don't disagree, but I still think it should have maybe a little more consideration.

Thank you everyone for your input! I do apologize for only having one picture to post. I know it makes it hard to determine if it's actually a wartime or post-war manufacture. I have asked my friend to take more pictures, including the the back of armband so you can have a better look at its construction. I soon as I get the pictures, I will post them.

To my untrained eye the unfinished look of the reverse looks wrong to me.

I doubt Herr Goring would wear an armband that looked like that.

The construction is nothing close to that of a period original example. The workmanship is quite crude.

And a Gauleiter that also is far from perfect. Circle isn't perfectly round again because of the leaves.

Close ups on the leaves and the back. Leaves look pretty much the same as the one that started the thread, except the one that started this has the leaves a bit more loose, which could just be from storage. It obviously wasn't stored perfect or it wouldn't have the wear it has.
