    Schmid-Ehmen sculpture

Do any of you know what became of Schmid-Ehmen's large eagle sculpture which was mounted on top of the Speer-designed German Pavilion at the International Exposition in Paris in 1937, when the pavilion was dismantled at the end of 1937?
The eagle is said to have been bigger than the ones at Nurnberg.

Br.James asked the same question in the 'Mahnmal Monument' thread:

The eagle was 9 metres tall.

Perhaps some magazines would have shed light on its design and construction by the Professor?

We have lots of information on the design & construction of the entire pavilion, but almost nothing on the dismantling and disposition. Just a few exhibits, like the Mercedes race car.
