Post 1938 General H.J. strap for an Oberscharfuhrer of Bann 117 Mainz of Gebiet West/Hessen-Nassau. Hersteller 21 on the RZM tag was
Richter & Rohrlapper of Brandenberg, later changed to Franz Ronnefarht in the spring of 1944. The RZM permit was first granted in 1934 and remained in place in 1944.

Bann name and location Source: Handbook of the Hitlerjugend by Wilhelm Saris, cross referenced with information from Garry M. at the Hiter Youth Research forum.

RZM Hersteller information is from the section on H.J. RZM permit holders in The Handbook of the Hitlerjugend by Wilhelm Saris.

The strap is a good period example, I would be happy with this in my collection.
