    Political Map Case

Which political organization used this map case? Anyone have photos of it in use?

Most likely any organization using brown leather, however it really could have been anyone in any organization.

So this type of item was one design for all party organizations?

Unless this has slots for pencils, ruler, etc. this isn't a "Map Case".... I've seen similiar pouches with that same belt hanger called "Musician's belt Case"...used for carring sheet music, etc.

Brown leather with RZM marking would certianly seem to indicate either "NSDAP Party" itself or SA....

Somewhat similiar example shown on pg. 572, Vol 3 of Angolia/Schlicht's UNIFORM & TRADITIONS OF THE GERMAN ARMY 1933 - 1945.

The map cases were often privately purchased--I've seen photos showing men and leaders carrying a number of different patterns and styles. It's a very nice case, by the way!
