        IMO, perfect for early SA or early political. Likely too early for an RZM tag, but did you look behind the rear pockets? I'd buy those in a heartbeat for an early SA ensemble.

          Actually, these aren't super early--the RZM label is washed out --the patch on the waistband is the RZM label. The corduroy breeches were permitted to be worn during the warm months and they're still listed in the RZM Herstellungsvorschriften of 1936 and after. Tunics of this corduroy were also allowed to be worn.

            Good catch, Erich........but look close, and you see it's not washed-out, but missing. That's the pants fabric you see.

              That's also common on brown shirts as well as the cotton corduroy breeches--the labels stand up better to dry cleaning than to washing.
