Andreas and Kyle are right on target here. This looks like one of the 'facsimile' GPB cases that we see offered by those who manufacture "museum-quality reproductions."

Hens teeth

In 16 years I think I have seen two which I believe in so to speak , and one is in Patzwalls's book which is a wine colour.As for the dated pieces there could be a more "red" etui but I am not convinced .
