Is this man wearing a FAD and SA mixed uniform?

I'm not very familiar with the FAD uniform. Am I correct to believe that the hat pin is FAD and the shirt is SA? Thanks

That is a very interesting photo. This FAD member was apparently also an SA member and wore his brown shirt under the FAD tunic. The tab is unfamiliar-- can you tell if it reads "5/C", "S/C", or something else? In the early days, you do occasionally see some odd combinations worn!

Hello Erich. The tab reads 5/C. I'm glad you find the photo interesting! Here is another FAD photo for comparison I recently picked-up

I got it in the mail today. It is a typical real photo postcard with no writing on the reverse. The photo itself is a bit blurry and this is the best I can do. Anyone find out some info on this man? Thanks

This is Nat.Soz.Arbeitsdienst, or maybe even Verein zur Umschulung in about 1933-1934. The collar-patches do not have to do with the SA. Likewise forms were worn by early labor services. Much is unknown about the early indications with numbers and letter combinations.
