Rad badge, real or fantasy?

Hi Guys,
This badge was on auktion. Anybody has idea what is it? Looks like cap badge but with hinge not with pin. I never seen that type before but i am not a rad expert.

It looks like a fake to me.

I would echo it appears to be a fantasy piece. Never seen an attachment device like this on any TR era RAD badge. The construction is rough, with a great deal of rim flash. Usually this is only present on repros and post-war strikes. The obverse photo is a little blurred but the enamel also does not look right, to period.
