BDM LEADERS SUMMER TUNIC PATCH RARE

This is a leadership patch for those members of the Bund Deutschen Madel (BDM) who had reached staff positions. This patch was worn on the lightweight white, cotton tunic that was worn in high summer. This is quite a rare piece of Jugend insignia. It’s in a off white background with the wonderfully embroidered spread-wing eagle in silver bullion thread.

Here is a BDM Gaufurerin badge is gold bullion. The silver badge's are identical. Compare to the silver badge posted for opinion.

There is a difference. Whether this is sufficient to say the silver badge in question is a reproduction , I'll leave that up to the membership.

I agree with Fred 100%. The white patch is an old and well known fake in the H.J. collecting arena.

Fred, that looks to be the same Have to say these seem reasonably well done but nothing like what Gary posted. And the link was insightful & scary, and I can say I've seen a number of those being passed about good Thanks for the help. I will now retreat back to police cloth!
