              Locket

              Concerning the locket..........the photos look old, and look like they may have been in there a long time, but there's always the possibility they were added post-war. I'm not saying this is so - just that there's the possibility. The overall design looks more like the swastika good-luck symbol, IMO. Also, was this style of monogram a common font used by German engravers? If you hang out at the SS Forum long enough, you become suspicious of everything. If these items came from the same source with provenance, I stand corrected.

                Addendum:
                I hope the owner doesn't take my remarks as criticism. The locket is VERY attractive, and it is an item that I, personally, would keep if it were mine, regardless of the origin. To me, it looks more American than German, especially with the colored stones. Cool item!!
