    NSDAP Leather case with eagle.

    Hello,

    I would like to know the utility of this leather case.

            I agree -- unusual and cool -- though I wonder why the need for all the different markings? And isn't it odd for one piece to include eagles of two different designs -- the case's cover shows the eagle facing to it's left while two other locations on the piece show an eagle looking to it's right...which was only used by the NSDAP and SA briefly in 1936. Questions, questions...

              The large embossed eagle looks believable to me, but the other markings- not so much.

                  The NSDAP circlular stamp does not appear to have a reason to be on this piece..these were stationary and letterhead stamps
