    I agree with your last comment, Erich (nothing new there) but I took the posting from Mikeburch to be referring or at least alluding to what we call the "AH gift patterns of tableware." Indeed, we know that whoever was responsible for ordering the silverware for the Reichschancellery complex in Berlin went to the effort of having a large number of place-settings created by the Bruckmann firm in the very same AH Formal Pattern -- though with "RK" replacing the original "AH," apparently for use at major dinner functions when Hitler himself was not present. But these rare pieces are not what Mikeburch was referring to, as I read his note.
