AH Plaque in Brass
I have this AH Plaque in brass with the size of 15.25" by 11.75" and a weight of at least 10 pounds. Great detail and great patina with a MM maker mark. It has 2 hooks in back to put it up with. Are there others like this one around? Was this a building plaque since it was so heavy and the 2 hooks in the back? Who is the maker? Thank you for your input. Jurgen

Pretty sure it's for inside use.

The marking could very well be the casting firms logo.

It's a nice piece.

Most likely bronze, not brass. It looks good to me.

Good authentic piece, no question.
Artist´s initials are MH and not MM - don´t know who that might be.

The artist is Heinrich Moshage, the maker mark should be on one of the hangers, probably says WMF Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (Wurtemberg Metalware Factory).
