This website often uses what I would call creative descriptors for items listed. See this thread for a photo of an H.J. member wearing jodhpur trousers, as this was often seen as evidenced by period photos.

The Rieter H.J. used an oval insignia on the lower left sleeve which was yellow in color with crossed cavalry lances with triangular pennants at the top.
IMO the value of the ensemble would be about half of what the listed price is. That being said it is a free market and a seller can ask what they wish and a buyer can pay what they wish.Comment

Darin, I very much appreciate your expertise. I should emphasize that the seller is not really representing this uniform as Reiter HJ. But I take that the uniform does seem good to you. The asking price does seem steep!Comment
