    Odd (early..) party pin....

Hello folks. I've had this one for a few years now...came to me from a local vets nephew along w/ some other nice items. I presume it's an early example, and until now, I've still not come across another example w/ this type of hardware on the reverse...some sort of button-hole fastener I'd imagine. Anyone else ever come across one like it? A few pix below. Thanks for any feedback.

It's fine and I guess it is not very common.

Thanks Wim. Yes, all of the stuff came out of a crawl space...(check out the dust on the Army helmet...) Un-touched for years. Moths chowed down on the police eagle, but all else was in fine shape. I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this type of set up before, and if it's indeed indicative of a very early example. Thx for commenting.

Thanks for your feedback! Nice example you have there, too! Are these considered to be very early, or just another variation (or both?). Thx.

It is not VERY early. It is dated 1927-1933. It is not another wariation. It is common Austrian pre RZM period party badge with Austrian sun ray disign. It is very rare because of it's very rare maker.

Not German and not the same, but a similar "ear"

A Parti National Socialiste Français badge as kindly identified for me sometime back by Jo Rivett......I had never seen one before this one I picked up in Germany at a fleamarket between 1973 to 1976 in a "junk box".
