    Hunters trophy ?? Help Needed

    Hi
    Picked up this Item today. Does anyone know what it is or have seen anything
    similar ? any Ideas on what the D G stands for or the crest ?
    I'm guessing it might have some connection with hunting judging by the large paw and the tusks.

    Let me know if you have any ideas.

    To me it looks like a fantasy concoction. Possibly boars' tusks in the candle cups, a bronze paw with fleur-de-lis design from a piece of furniture, home made oak plaque and base, and home made swastika?

      I think your on the money. It does have the look of a DIY project, made by someone that was fairly skilled but not a real craftsman. The swastika has been cut unevenly.
      I'd like to think that its period piece but who really knows. I like it anyway & will sit it on my desk.
