    NSFK Cloth Patch (grey)

    Hi Guys

I would appreciate your comments and opinions - bought this grey NSFK Cloth Patch from eMedals (only pics I have, it's still in the post).

I've done internet searches + "photo comparisons" with WAF members examples - to me it looks OK.

    Kind Regards, Ian

    NSFK Cloth Patch - tan/brown

Reviving this unanswered thread of 2014 by Ian Morrison, given that I have a similar request. Attached are pictures of my machine-woven tan patch for use, as I understand it, on the tan-colored NSFK working shirt. As you can see, there is no backing material and the Icarus/"flying man" symbol is woven in a silvery, metallic-looking type of thread.

Can anyone please provide feedback as to the period originality (or otherwise) of this breast/sleeve patch?

    Thanks and regards,

    John

Man yours looks almost exactly like the one in this post.

They could be twins. I have one in grey that is machine woven with metallic thread and the details on it are much better than the 2 brown ones with the metallic thread. All of mine (both the grey and brown) have the backing like Ian’s. Also the material the brown ones (in this post and the one in the link) are made from does not look correct to me nor does the metallic thread.....JMHO. Also Ian's is a nice original.

          Thanks rlimike

John (jwburchell), for comparison, below is my brown NSFK Cloth Patch; looks like it was removed from clothing.

          Cheers, Ian
