Marble SA piece

A friend just got this, and wonders what it's for, what the Emslandhaus is and where it is. Any help is appreciated. I will say it is an interesting piece for sure!

Emsland is located in Niedersachsen--here's a photo of the interior of the 'Emslandhaus' (I assume it's the same place).

The stone is red marble (actually granite), that was widely used in the TR period.

Interesting piece and link.ive been to mohrenstr ubahn..pretty obvious to anyone its from Hitlers old gaff just up the road..why else would they rebuild it in that style of marble/granite
