HJ Arm Band

I have not seen this version before, and I was told it was for a HJ Leader.

Not a standard RZM pattern armband and that tag does not belong with the item IMO. There are no seperate RZM regulations for "Leader" or general membership H.J. armbands, they are one in the same. Non standard armbands were used in the period as photo evidence shows.

I have never seen a wool HJ armband before. What does that mean? I don't know if it is genuine or not. I own and have owned a number of HJ leader tunics and all had the standard cotton armband, including a tunic for a Bannfuhrer. To me, the RZM tag looks much older and worn than the armband itself. My thoughts. Sorry I can not be of more assistance.

here is my opinion the wool armband is original with the correct paper tag,the hj emblem is original but has been added to the wool armband,i cant say if this was period done or post war.

Is it your opinion that the armband is an NSDAP armband that has been modified by the addition of the H.J. square cloth and swastika? That RZM tag is an NSDAP tag and not an H.J. tag, this is a fact.

yes i would say a modified nsdap armband i would say period modified.
