    The armband

    Dear Bill,

Nice piece! I deem it is a Dutch armband that belonged to a (small) Dutch Nazi party called: NSNAP (or in Dutch: 'Nationaal Socialistische Nederlandse Arbeiders Partij') which was a small movement lead by a former Dutch army-officer called Kruyt. In mid-1941 this party was forbidden by the Gernan occupational forces and was forced to dissolve into the (by then only allowed party) the NSB.

    These armbands are considered rare!

    Hope this helps,

    Best regards,

    Coco
Pls. have also a look at my web-site: www.hiscoll.com

When search the NSNAP in google images for pictures, this photo came up and you can actually see the stripes on the armbands. The guys holding the flag to the right have it most visible, but still hard to see.... Not sure how to zoom in pictures so can't get a closer look....

Wondering if anybody knew how many different types of armbands were used in this party? Found this type as well in the sold archives of Stewarts
