Just got this beauty and need to know if its 2nd class or 4th?

Confusing! Its getting late and snapped a few pics but to capture the beauty I need to get more tommorrow!

I agree.

It is a lovely 2nd class of the order of the German Eagle without swords. 1939-1943 period.

They were granted to foreign personnel and some German diplomats, although it was awarded to the German staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which we know the Grand Cross of the order of Eagle in German and the Grand Cross in gold in other cases.

The only Germans who know received this lovely decoration are von Neurath, von Ribbentrop and Whilhem Frick

It will be listed in the estand section as I believe the collectors of such beauty deserve a chance to be caretaker of it!

Its a tremendous looking item and even though not my area of collecting
it made me pause and observe with excitment the beauty!
