They are not rare but a nice addition if they are attached, please show the other SA kragenspiegel if possible, Sean

Shirt

Instead of using Google, go to "SEARCH" on this Forum. It's at the top of the page. Type in "SA Brownshirt", and there should be more examples. Those sleeve rings are important, as they tell you exactly when they joined the SA. Some collectors like to "dress-up" their uniform displays with an appropriate tinnie from the time period , or better yet, a tinnie from the same SA Gruppe. Of course, tinnies were only worn around the time of the event unless it became an actual award. For example, one might be tempted to add a cool SA-Treffen badge to a shirt like yours, but that event occured in 1931, BEFORE he joined the SA, so it would be inappropriate. I stongly suggest NOT modifying any shirts or tunics by poking holes in them, but often there are holes already there. Besides.......it's all about having fun, so in the grand scheme of things, as long as the badge is appropriate, it's your call. I added a fashion accessory to my shirt, and it's not only correct for the time frame, but the event occurred in the same town that the SA Gruppe is from(Franken - Nurnburg), so surely, they would have attended that event.

The collar patches with 215 are according to the SA-Standarte from Flensburg, which is, as said Nordmark. There was another 215, but this existed in Niedersachsen (Winsen/Luhe) and the backing then was dark-brown.

The small Litze (and the system about these) came into being with an order, published in the Verordnungsblatt der Obersten SA-Führung from October 15, 1934 and were known as: Ärmelstreifen für altgediente SA-Männer. In the publication it was noted when and how the Litze was to be worn. The brown-shirt so is anyway from later then November 1934. The black-white cord is correct for the stand of July 7, 1933 (earlier it had been green-red when wearing was authorized).

The litze is a service ring showing which year the mann joined the SA before 1933, this i recall was started in Sept 1934, are the other collar tabs from the same unit? Sean

The 2 extra shoulderboards are likely from Gruppe Nordmark, but SA green colors can be ambiguous, especially discerning the difference between "Steel Green"(sometimes called Forest Green or Hunter Green) and "Emerald Green". The shirt's collar tabs definitely look like "Emerald", so NORDMARK is the correct call, IMO. The 2 shoulderboards look like they're maybe dark enough to be Steel Green, and maybe not emerald. If that IS the case, then the shoulderboards are from Nordsee. Place them side-by-side with the shirt for comparison. The rank tab with the gold pips could possibly be either color as well. However, the rank tab with the silver pips could be problematic. It looks light enough to be Emerald, just like the shirt. But assuming it IS emerald, the color of the pips and the color of the litze don't jive. SACHSEN: Emerald green tabs, silver pips & buttons, and white/GREEN litze. NORDMARK: Emerald green tabs, gold pips, and white/BLACK litze. Bottom line - the tab on the left is either a Kurpfalz tab, or a Nordmark tab with post-war added silver pips.
