SA Staff Tab 1933

SA collar tab, circa 1933. Early SA Sturmfuhrer tabs are the most attractive of all SA tabs, IMO. Material is wool felt. The ultra-yummy red/silver piping was only worn for a short time.

Thanks a lot. The poor photos don't do it justice. It's quite small for a piped tab. Even WITH the piping, it's about the size of an enlisted tab. I dreamed that the guy I got it from called me and said he has the shirt it came off of. Dream on............huh?

Wonderful tabs!!!! I saw a red Staff unit tab just like yours, with the red/silver piping, but it was BLANK. Why?........and what Stab ranks wore blank tabs w/ this piping?

Awesome! The early tabs with multi colour twist piping are hard to beat, and hard to find now....

Echoe - Why are the pips on your Stab. tabs gold? I always thought Gruppen Staff wore silver. It's hard to find info on early Staff tabs.
