RARE! Original Un-Issued Hitler Youth Zeltbahnen

RARE!!! Original Un-Issued Hitler Youth 2 Man Zeltbahnen that we will have for sale. It has never been issued and comes with original carry bag. It does have some Russian capture markings that they stamped on the bag and both sides of the tent. The buckles have RZM markings and there is a faint RB Number ink stamp on one of the grommet tabs. Comes with carry bag, poles, rope & bones and un-issued wooden pegs that are still wrapped into original factory paper (no shown). The tent has never been taken out of the bag except for us setting it up to take the photos. It is like it was made yesterday!

Modern tent makers could take a few lessons on that, with the economy of design shown..

                Hi,

What makes you think that these are Hitler Youth tents?

                  Let me rephrase the question:

I have primary documentation here showing exactly which types of tents were authorised for use by the Hitler Youth. Your 2-man tent is not listed and in fact, nothing approaching that small size is listed. As you clearly plan to sell the tent as "Hitler Youth" I would be interested in knowing how you arrived at that conclusion.

PS: The Zeltbahn was a different item altogether. You very clearly have a tent.

                    I would say a typical 50's russian tent !
The colour is a typical russian kaki and never a german colour, first of all ?

I agree it is a Russian tent made with some recycled German hardware.

Is a mix between RZM and RBNr usual?

                        Regards

Just thought I should add that this 'rare' tent is actually listed on eBay for: $1,278.00 ...

Here is another HJ Zelt that we sold and it is EXACTLY like the other one we are offering, but this one was in poor condition. You can see the RZM marking on the buckle on the pouch that it came in. Yes 2 adults can fit in the zelt, but it would be tight. Yes it is more for HJ kid.

The un-issued is not Russian material and the Russian would not make these zelts as nice with rubberized bottoms.

Same of pouch as the un-issued one.
