    Bdm/jm ??

    HI,
    I don't normally venture into this forum but today one of my coworkers
    who's dad just passed brought me his dad's sourvinirs from ww2.

    Am I right in thinking that these are BDM/JM items. The triangle has
    silver thread, not yellow.

    I've never collected cloth before so I am way out of my league here
    and would appreciate any info you can give.

    Both items appear good to me. You are correct, they are BDM. The triangle is a more commonly found triangle but it is good.

      Thanks for the quick reply
      In my very limited internet search, one dealer has a black/ yellow
      triangle listed as a boys uniform and the black/ silver one for a
      girls uniform. Is that correct?

        That's correct Greg. The white or silver looking thread is for B.D.M/J.M. and the yellow or gold color is for H.J./D.J. members. These were worn by B.D.M and J. M. member on the left sleeve of the suede leather climbing jacket along with the diamond. Also worn on the white blouse without the diamond. The diamond was also used on the sport vest and other female uniforms as well.
