    "Mit Uns" Plaque

One of the ressons I started collecting TR badges was after seeing a picture in "Purnells History of the Second World War" which I bought in October 1966.

In the picture was a "Mit Uns" door plaque which caught my eye.

I have only seen one other for sale and it sold right away. I bought this one from Kai Winkler a few weeks ago. It is quite small measuring just 4CM x 6CM.

    Hope you like it

Very nice, Stan, and I like the memorabilia in the other photo, too!

      Thank you James.

Over the years I have picked up a few of the other items in the picture although for some reason never got the SS Buckle or dagger.

the "Mit Uns" (With Us) enamel actually comes in two sizes.

you can see both currently for sale here or a side by side comparison here.

neat pieces, likely communicating to passers-by that the residents of a particular home or apartment were party members. Congratulations on your piece. I share with you the jubilation of the acquisition of an elusive piece.

              Hello,
Here's a picture of my Mit Uns plaque. Mine is also the smaller version of it.
This is the only pic I currently have available, sorry if it's not too good. I also have a picture of this plaque in a series of magazines called "A History of the Second World War"
              regards,
              Duzig(Bill)

I vividly remember that picture and it made me seek out everything in it. The thing I found hardest to get, and still have not found, is the Mackensen clasp. I think this is a pretty underappreciated item. Nice plaque!
