What a stunning eagle design. No wonder Goering 'recycled' it on their Academy design. Having a taste for top shelf art he knew how to pick them.

Ron, I believe that sleeve insignia is cut from a sheet & unissued, never been on a tunic. I had some of them exactly like that from a veteran, & they were on a sheet of wool exactly like you have there.
