Dagger/Equipment Hanger OLC RZM M5-71 - Repro?

This hanger clip seems odd to me on several levels, so was hoping to get an opinion. It is magnetic, gold pebble finish which I always equated at a glance with post war Police. The side view strikes me as odd with the way the clip is bent over to trap the hinge pin. Seems a little crude for something made to RZM specs.

Hi Don,
This clip is not for a dagger hanger, but IMO for a shoulder strap.
Golden gear is usually used for the matching SA group, SA marine or pol. Leiter formations like "Ordensburgen" members.
