Well I was just going to add this to my website but then I found some interesting stuff about them. Nothing is conclusive but figured it would be interesting to share.... I saw this DAF armband sell on germanwarbooty.com and then after it sold I saw it had my birthday on it 
. Wish I could have owned it. Then, after searching the forum here, I found another with the same date and style of armband! Just different towns but the handwriting is very close to the same. Then after that I found 2 more made the same way with ink put on the red linen body... So what's going on here? In only 30 minutes I found 4 of them and they are basically all the same. Would these have been a right after the war production to sell to GI's? Were they a standard armband used in the DAF? Where these just a coincidence to have the same date on them? Either way I thought it was interesting enough to share... What's your thoughts on this?
