    15 Yeard NDSAP Long Service Medal

    Hello all, I always wanted the 15 year NDSAP medal. I was finally able to obtain one. Unfortunately it does not have a ribbon. I personally feel these are better looking w/ the Blue and Silver than the White and Gold 25 year..

    I kind of agree which is just as well considering the price of the 25yr version. These 15yr are very nice, I picked up a Deumer one last year from the stand with ribbon and case, but - as I have the '10' as well - would like to get a 25 yr version one day to have the set!

      Each to his own taste. I find the 25 to have the characteristics of an exquisite piece of jewelry. I guess it is the gold/white contrasting with the red of the ribbon. But the blue of the 15 year really speaks out to you. Can't say much about the 10 other than dullsville.

        The '10' is dull in comparison, but my '10' is a nice copper colour and not dull at all.

          Hi Scott,

          That is a super-nice example. Looks like yours has perfect enamel. I agree with you, too, that it is the nicest of the three NSDAP long-service decorations: There is something about the look of Prussian blue enamel and frosted silver. I hope you can find a nice ribbon to complete the piece.

              I agree with you about those 10-Yr Zincers but the "19" marked Deumers in tombak are still very attractive...

                Not trying to hijack the discussion thread but.... while it is hard to compete with enameled orders and decorations, some of the 10-Year NSDAP decorations are quite striking.

                I love the dark chocolate coloration of this particular example and it looks great mounted next to the 15-Year decoration.

                  By chance I've just bought a single ribbon bar for the NSDAP 25yr cross. It wasn't cheap but I have never seen one, I'll post it when it arrives. I guess I'll have to get the full sized award now! I'll post my 10yr copper coloured 'Godet' when I get home as well.
