    Rather large party banners

For some reason I can't post in the banner forum, so I figured I'd share here. I recently picked up two of these from a vet's son, along with some other great items. I don't have an exact measurement yet, but I'm estimating them to be 4x30'. They are made of the thick cotton, unlike some of the parade banners. These appear to have come from an HQ building of sorts. Let me know if any of you have seen ones this large on the market, an maybe a price that they had on them. As always, comments are welcomed

    ......

You might want to post this in the flag section of the forum.

Refer to the forum rules and regulations.

As a non-paying member, you cannot post any pictures directly at all. The inserted link should work in the flags forum, though.

Apparently I'm able to. And I would point out that this banner is in part a political item which falls under the topic.

                Hi Cjckick,

I think it is very good advice for you to post your query on the "Flag, Pennant and Standarte Forum" as there is a colleague there whose opinion is very widely valued. His moniker is OFW which stands for "Old Flags Wanted" and he has been active in this focus of collecting for many, many years.

Indeed your banner is a 'political' item, but you will want to have the advice and contact with the widest and most knowledgeable collectors possible...and you will find that on the "Flag, Pennant and Standarte Forum."

                Cheers,

                Br. James

Now that's how one tactfully goes about making a friendly suggestion. Your kindness and maturity on the matter is much aporeciated. These young grasshoppers could learn a thing or two from you!
