    picked this case up with SA eagle on the case this is a english silver case dated 1932 what do you think cheers paul .

        A beautiful artifact, Paul, though the eagle appears to be an M-1934 design which was worn by the Political Leaders as well as the SA and other Party organizations. I assume that the date you mentioned -- 1932 -- is indicated in the English hallmarks...

          I agree--it's attractive, but when and why the 2 items were mated will likely remain unknown.

                Agreed. A Frankenstein - simply an M29 eagle affixed onto a British-made cigarette case to raise it's perceived value and nothing more.

                    ... and stamped D&F for the firm Deakin & Francis. The company still operates today. http://deakinandfrancis.co.uk They mainly specialise in cufflinks and I occasionally see their items at antique shows.
