Opinions on NSKK sleeve eagle?

    Opinions on NSKK sleeve eagle?

    Can you take a look at this sleeve eagle? Someone said that because the head was facing left instead of right, that it was no good. Since then I have seen some authentic sleeve eagles facing left. The paper tag was attached to the back when I got it but it fell off.
    Any opinions will be welcome.

          Is there a need to speak in such a manner? I dont collect NSKK and many dont either..doesnt mean we cant view the thread..i have only seen these and NSKK eagles facing right..if youve seen these facing left on period photos hasnt that answered your own question??the question is if original why are 99% of NSKK items facing right and these left..

            I guess you have never heard someone make an expression of incredulity. I agree as to the question of right vs. left and had had high hopes of someone addressing the issue.

              In about February or March 1936 instead of the metal NSKK eagle the woven version was worn. The first ones were, as seen from the viewer, facing to the left (looking to the right wing). As such it was in the manufacturing regulations from 1936.

              Since spring 1937 the eagle faced the other way around (looking to the left wing). All had to do with a Hitler order about the stand for the eagle's head for state and poitical.

                      I'll tell you what Emily.....at least I am honest enough to pull it if it was.
                      I have seen plenty of posts where the originator went back and kept asking if anyone had anything to say about the particular item. Otherwise the thread sinks into oblivion. Also, if it was no good, there are plenty of people that would have jumped all over it, stating that it was a repro. By the way, what's your story? Trying to apply for a job as a Mod.?
                      I personally thought that it was good, but was looking for other opinions. If you are looking to cast aspersions on my name, look elsewhere. I have always met and exceeded WAF guidelines. I refund the shipping costs if someone doesn't like something and have always offered a lifetime guarantee on what I have ever sold. Can you say the same? Will you refund all monies, including the shipping cost, if you send a big item, say to Australia? An extra $35 or $40 ??? I don't even wait to get an item back. A goof friend of mine in Sweden had a problem with a small item that he said wasn't worth sending back and he would try to sell it as a repro. He didn't even ask for a refund, but I took care of him and told him to keep it anyhow! I have refused to sell items to people that were even slightly questionable. My integrity and honesty are more important to me then a few lousy bucks, so please take yourself and your seeming slurs and innuendos and peddle them somewhere else.

                          It seems that no matter what I write, no matter what I say, that you will dispute it. You are what we, here in the US, call a troll. That is a person that stirs up controversy for it's own sake, just to see if he can get people upset and irritated for his own pleasure. I can't be bothered with you. Go back to your cave and try again with someone else.
