Sports badge.

Hi, this isn't a sports badge, its a Coburg badge that was issued to members of the SA that travelled to Coburg basically for a bust up with the Red communists who were actively working politically in that area. Hitler's team came out on top.
Its classed as one of the top political awards in its own right. The badge is normally of a plain metal and no black enammeling, i have read that there were a few made of the construction on your badge, but looking at the rear of the badge it appears to be crudely made. Not what you'd expect of an award which was held in such high esteem. Be this as it may, even a copy of this badge isn't common, so I'd keep hold of it anyway, even if its to keep just as an example.
