I recently added this brown Icarus to my collection; the last find of the year. Found the gray one several months ago.

these both look good. i got suckered in on a credible repro in silver wire on blue-grey in the 70's. i'll leave the details so the fakers don't continue to use waf as a training ground.

Yeah ... there are several dealers who sell repros (as originals) of this insignia in bevo some with the brown background and also the black background. They can also be found in uncut strips / rolls. Once you see an original in hand next to a repro the difference is obvious.
