I´m not familiar with this very rare award, but IMHO the way as it´s made could indicate wartime manufacture.

      Thanks for your opinion Gregorio.

Here is my second National Prize for Art and Science breast star. This one is a complete set with case and sash.

      Best regards,
      Alex

            oh my God!!!!
I´d give one of my arms for this one.
Congratulation my friend, and thank you for sharing this ultra-scarce beauty.

                Thanks for the compliments.

The case is UV negative. In addition there is also a stamp of the NSDAP Linz inside the case at an unobtrusive spot.

                  stunning

Is there any mention of who was behind the design that eventually ended up being awarded?
Here are a couple of prototypes of the same award that are said to come from the estate of R. Klein (top left, next to RKK badge). I guess that would imply that he was the man behind at least some of the patterns (if original, of course).

                    Hello Alex,
Your set of the National Prize for art and Science is really Souval and made in very good quality silver. Probably the most difficult award made by Souval to get.
By the way I am still waiting for the pictures of that Cross we talked about.
                    Always nice hearing from you.
                    Chris.

Alex, I made a quick check in 4 reference books and with your sash included, I found 5 different types of embroidery

                          cheers

Must have been too difficult a question
