Cloth Guard Eagle?

Hello,

I questioned this eagle on another forum and have not received a solid answer or another example to compare it with. I believe it is supposed to be a cloth example of a guard patch.
I do not care for the execution of the design, the construction of the front or the back. Any body else have any opinions? Thanks.

Hello,

Anybody else have cloth examples that they would like to share?? I see the metal version was used on the service cap. Would this cloth one also be used on a service cap or was it used on a side cap?
